Intro To The Snow

Hey hey! I wanted to write this as a kind of introduction to us and what we do. We're a plural collective of 5 (Eiffel, G, Kingfisher, io, and TB). We're writers and mind stuff enjoyers, and we wanted to make this in order to share that.

We've been consistently doing the Gateway Tapes for a while now, consistently for about 2 months, and we're on wave 3. We have a theory of the ability to travel through the universe (partially connected to Bob Monroes theory that your brain is like an antenna that can pick up on reality, and you can train your brain to pick up on new things. But also partially that we are more than our physical body. (plus, most of us already came from a different reality, we don't think it's much of a strech that we can get out of this body).

As for our plurality, we're working on parallel processing and innerworld generation. Some people would call this "becoming polyconscious" but we do not use consciousness labels. I would explain this as allowing our brain to keep two focuses online at once. Imagine you brain as a flashlight, where the light is your focus. Some plurals still only have one of these flashlights, and therefore only one person can use it at once. Parallel processing is kind of like splitting that light into pieces, where each headmate claims their own bit of light to focus or be online at the same time as the fronter. Innerworld generation is the ability to live in the innerworld whilst another person takes the front.

We are also working on prophantasia, which is the ability to take something your visualising, and see it with your actual eyes. We're at the point where we can project the faint outlines of shapes onto walls. It's had the interesting side affect of hightening our visual snow in the dark, but for us it does not cause issues.

heyo! as of writing this, we don't currently have a blog section lol, we just want to fill this in for coolness reasonns.
here we're gonna post about everything in the first box, as well as life stuff and basically anything else.
